About the Founder

Jim Lockett LMT, CBT has been practicing neuromuscular therapy for the last 16 years. Moving to Arizona from New York City in 1994, Jim enjoys the status of being one of the few professionals in the state to specialize in this amazing therapy. He studied at the US School of Healthcare Sciences in Texas, and finally the prestigious BIOLINK Institute mentoring under Mary Shope.

He has worked with professional athletes, injury/accident cases and all manner of conditions. He has also enjoyed teaching advanced courses at Central Arizona College, Phoenix Therapeutic Massage College, and is a guest lecturer at 2 major Universities in London, England.

Why NMT Centers was Formed

Jim realized he was able to relieve pain in his patients but he could only assist a limited number of patients a day. Expanding his knowledge and training about Neuromuscular Therapy to other qualified individuals, was the only way to aid more people in alleviating their suffering. Working with physicians, and highly trained therapists, Jim would be assured that more patients would be well cared for and their pain eliminated. NMT CENTERS were founded to create a partnership with Neuromuscular Therapists, physicians and patients. Together a vision to improve quality of life, free from pain, is achieved.
